Summer Programs Covid-19 Protocols

Children's Health Assessment Form - Families must fill out COVID-19 screening forms for each child prior to entering a program site. If your child or someone in your home is showing any signs of illness (sore throat, fever, headache, stomach pains, vomiting, diarrhea) please keep them home. If children attend a site with any signs of illness, they will be refused from the site.

Whether you’re a beginner or a more advanced fitness enthusiast looking to push yourself to a higher level, this is a fun and challenging class incorporating cardio, strength and flexibility....

Whether you’re a beginner or a more advanced fitness enthusiast looking to push yourself to a higher level, this is a fun and challenging class incorporating cardio, strength and flexibility. Individual attention from the instructor ensures everyone is encouraged to strive towards their personal goals. Please bring an exercise mat to class and mini loop resistance bands. Equipment is not necessary but recommended. Suggested bands can be purchased at:

This class will be held outdoors at the Caisse Community Centre rink behind the C.C. Please make sure to bring your water bottles! In the event of inclement weather, class will be held via Zoom. Details to follow.

There will be no access to washroom facilities in the C.C.

There will be no class August 3.

Priority will be given to in-district participants.

*We are closely following the recommendations of Public Health and the Government of Manitoba regarding physical/social distancing and protocols to ensure everyone's safety. Please ensure proper hand-washing before and after program. If you are sick or have a fever, for the safety of yourself and others we ask that you stay home.

Come and play pickleball with us! This court sport combines the rules of ping pong, tennis and badminton. Pickleball can be played with 2 or 4 players using a paddle similar to a ping pong paddle and a plastic whiffle ball. Easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a fast-paced competitive game for experienced players. Equipment available for beginners to try. Day and times may vary without notice. Please register at any point to receive program updates as they arise.

Singles play only and fees will be waived. Participants must follow guidelines set out by Public Health and MHRD for social distancing, handwashing etc.

Welcome to MHRD's take on one of Canada's favourite shows - “Dragon's Den”! Campers will be given specific amounts of supplies that they will use to complete crafts and challenges, while also getting the chance to showcase their entrepreneurial skills as they pitch their creations to parents/
guardians. Get ready to tap into your creative imagination with a Lego challenge, clay creation, and the ultimate Dragon's Den Challenge!

Join us for Yoga Flow online through the Zoom app and website. Register and you will receive a recurring meeting code and password to join the class! Can't make the time? Register anyways, and you will be sent the recorded class each week to do on your own!

Flow yoga class links traditional Hatha yoga postures with the breath in continuous, smooth flowing movements. The increasing warmth in your body produced by the breath and the movements will help to increase flexibility, strength and cardiovascular endurance. Wrist - free yoga poses can be incorporated. Previous yoga experience recommended as well as the ability to get down onto the floor for poses. You will need a yoga mat.
