Find out how cool it is to be kind to ourselves and others! Gain confidence in making decisions for yourself that help you live a healthy and happy life.

This program focuses on mental health awareness, anti-bullying, physical literacy and more!

** Please bring a water bottle, lawn chair and dress for the weather.

This program includes four sessions with the following themes:

August 5th (Week 1): Mental Health – Barriers, Concerns & Issues we face daily

Mental health is just as important as physical health, and is something that every person should learn about. This week will consist of getting to know each other and introducing the importance of mental health, as well as all of the areas in life that mental health affects.

August 12th (Week 2): What is Stress?

Stress is something we all continuously deal with throughout our lives. This session we will discuss different coping mechanisms and how others deal with the stresses in their lives! Mixed in with this we will have different interactive activities! Come join us for a stress relieving day!

August 19th (Week 3): Bullying

Bullying can come in many forms, and it’s important for kids to know how to recognize, and address bullying towards themselves or others. This session will educate and provide ways to deal with bullying in a safe and healthy way. This is a lifelong skill that is good for kids to learn while they are young!

August 26th (Week 4): Internet Safety

Being safe on the internet is important knowledge for kids to have, especially in a world with as much online interaction as ours! This session will teach kids the importance of internet safety, what it means to post on social media, and the types of people they should interact with online!

Join us for a slow flow yoga practice every Monday to breathe and move in community. Press pause on your day to create space within - physically, mentally & emotionally.

Each week we will have a different focus for our practice to invite strength and length within the body - hip & leg opening, heart opening, core and deep twisting. Leave feeling renewed and refreshed for your day. This practice is beginner friendly and modifications and variations are provided. Come as you are!

You will need a yoga mat and we use the support of props in many poses to support and enhance our practice. Don't have props? Don't worry! Get creative with some household items to use instead! We can help you with some suggestions.

To learn more about the instructor, visit www.rebeccawatsonyoga.com

There will be no class on Monday August 2nd.

Please consult a Health Care Professional before starting any new exercise program to help decide if it's right for you.

Come as you are! Slow down and soften to soothe and nurture awareness of the mind, body + spirit. You'll be guided through long held passive poses to soften connective tissues, creating space in the hips, spine and pelvis. This practice is meditative, rejuvenating and restorative. An opportunity to melt away the stress, anxiety and tension that we carry physically, emotionally, mentally and energetically. A great practice if you suffer from symptoms of arthritis or carry a lot of tension and stiffness in your body. Class is beginner & prenatal friendly.

You will need a yoga mat- and we use the support of props in many poses to support and enhance our practice. Don't have props? Don't worry! Get creative with some household items to use instead! We can help you with some suggestions.
