Bird Watching Backpacks The Bird Watching Backpack Loan Program gives community members free access to ready-to-use birding kits they can borrow, just like a library book. Each backpack includes binoculars, a local trail map, and basic bird identification tools to help beginners and enthusiasts explore local parks and natural areas. This program promotes outdoor learning, wildlife appreciation, a hands-on environmental education, by making bird watching accessible.
