Meet Your Instructor

Jaimie Bristow

Jaimie is a former elementary school teacher who taught in the Inner City of Winnipeg for 14 years. She has been practicing yoga for over 20 years, obtained her 200 hour Embodied Vinyasa training with Liane Cherrett and Rebecca Watson in 2020, and additional training in restorative in 2021. Although she has practiced varying styles of yoga for many years, it was not until she was faced with uncertainty and illness that she grew to deepen her understanding of the practice and its principles on and off the mat. Jaimie wholeheartedly believes in the importance of using conscious breath, and embodied mindful movement to strengthen the mind body connection and maintain optimal physical and mental health. She has been teaching yoga sessions to friends and family for the past few years and is now very excited and ready to share her love of yoga with the community!!

Slow and Low Flow Yoga offers a gentle yet intentional practice that blends mindful movement with breath awareness. This class moves at a slower pace, allowing time to explore poses with control, ease, and alignment. Perfect for all levels, it helps build strength, improve flexibility, and reduce stress—leaving you feeling grounded, relaxed, and recharged.
