On February 17th, the Macdonald-Headingley Recreation District invited students from Grades 5 - 8 to participate in a Winter Olympics celebration. Each grade was asked to represent a country, work as a team and earn points toward Olympic Gold!
- 368 students from throughout the R.M. of Macdonald.
- 13 countries represented.
- Students participated in a variety of "Olympic" sports, such as "Bob & Sled", Snoccer, Snowshoe Golf, Smooshing, Jam Pail Curling & more.
- Congratulations to the winning countries!
