Computer Learning Center

Headingley Seniors' Services and the Macdonald-Headingley Recreation District have established the Headingley Computer Learning Center. The Center will provide computer and internet education courses specifically designed for adults aged 55 plus. You'll be able to learn practical computer skills you need to take advantage of information and resources of interest to you. Class sizes are small to ensure each student has individual time with the instructor. Some of the courses currently being explored and/or offered include:

 -Computer Basics- Level 1 & 2

 -Email

 -Introduction to Excel

 -Introduction to the Internet

 -Banking & Shopping Online

 -How to Find Reliable Health Information on the Internet

 -Computer Viruses

 -Google Earth

The Headingley Computer Learning Center is located in the Headingley Community Center- 5353 Portage Avenue.
