Things to Know
We make every effort to ensure the the information printed in the guide is accurate, and therefore assume no responsibilities for errors, changes or omissions. To ensure the sustainability of our programs and activities, we are unable to honor incorrect pricing. Commitment to Inclusion People with disabilities are encouraged to participate in any of our recreation programs, at a level suitable to their ability, program choice and facility access. Please disclose your disability at the time of registration in order for us to work together to meet your needs. Respect to All We want to create an environment where everyone can participate and enjoy MHRD programs and events. Nut Free If a child/youth program or event involves the participants bringing lunch, please be mindful in your preparation of the food and ensure it is nut free. Scent Free Did you know that your perfume may be making some people sick? Please do your best to minimize your use of scented products that may cause serious health issues to others in the class. Be an Early Bird! Many programs fill quickly. Registration is accepted on a first come, first registered basis. Program size is managed according to instructor and/or facility guidelines. Why Good Programs Get Canceled All classes are subject to minimum and maximum registration. If there are not enough participants signed up, the program is canceled or postponed. Registering at the last minute may not save a great program...so register early! Share Your Skills Our programs are fun, informative & recreational. If you have an expertise or passion to share, we're always on the lookout for new instructors to deliver programs within the district. Prior experience is preferred but not required. Classes may be a one time workshop or a series. For more information on becoming an instructor, please contact the Macdonald-Headingley Recreation District office at 885-2444. Give Us Your Best Smile! We like to show everyone how much fun our events and programs are, so often take pictures to capture the moment. Pictures are used for our Program & Community Resource Guide as well as brochures and other promotional materials. If you object to having your child's picture taken, please let the photographer know. Tell Us How We're Doing We value your comments and feedback. Please let us know how we're doing. Downloads...
