Headingley Seniors' Services and the Macdonald-Headingley Recreation District have established the Headingley Computer Learning Center. The Center provides computer and internet education courses specifically designed for adults aged 55+ or those new to computers. Classes are small and relaxed with each student on a laptop. The class size ensures each student has individual time with the instructor. You'll be able to learn practical computer skills you need to take advantage of information and resources of interest to you.

Please note: Non-Seniors add 20% to the registration fee.

Computer Club

Interested in computers, but don't know where to start or already using one but would like to increase your skills? Experienced instructor will assist you and answer your questions.

Intro to Keyboarding Skills
Instructor- Estelle Thornson
This course will teach you how to use the computer keyboard with hands on practice and instructor assistance. No more "hunt & peck" method! You will learn how to properly position your hands to type, as well as the function of special keys.

Learn to use email to communicate with friends and family all over the world. Includes sending & opening attachments, storing contact information etc.
